Partner with Julie on Mission

Secondary trauma, depression, and isolation, among other issues, are all very real experiences of those who are willing to work closely with underserved populations. Yet missionaries and other crisis response volunteers often have difficulty finding an appropriate counselor in the country in which they are serving. Over the course of my work abroad, I have had the benefit of serving numerous such individuals. But the work doesn’t stop abroad. My mission is to continue serving missionaries even after I’ve returned home.
Your financial support provides for continued travel to sites where I am able to meet people face-to-face; to witness and experience the challenging work they do. Such connections strengthen rapport which greatly facilitates our online sessions once I’ve returned to the States. Additionally, your support aids in the purchase of materials for staff and volunteer instruction as well as transportation around the region to nearby sites as requests arise.
Funding not only provides the opportunity for hands-on work, but partnering with Julie provides a means for these missionaries and volunteers to continue getting the mental and emotional support they need, long after the trips are over. Offering counseling at no cost to individuals who already face the difficult task of fund-raising to support their family and mission is critical to their getting the help they need. Please, prayerfully consider how God might desire for you to participate in such a valuable ministry.
